When you're in takedown mode follow behind your opponent in the same lane and every now and then the other car will slam on it's brakes and you can slam right into him and deal a lot of damage.

The best car in the game is the Dodge Viper. You unlock it after you do the viper mission if you have already unlock the new Camaro and the new Challenger. Towards the end of the game you should raise up to buy the Koenigsegg CCX. It is really fast, one of the fastest cars in the whole world.
